Your firm’s name. In every conversation.

Give each lawyer an address on your office domain and connect client and partner correspondence with your professional presence.

An address that connects email with your firm’s identity

When you send meeting details, professional enquiries or client follow-ups, your address carries your law firm’s domain. Withaq helps you purchase the mailbox count you need, assign each mailbox to a team member, and read and reply from the office dashboard once setup is complete.

Your firm in every message

Use an address such as name@your-office.com instead of personal email, keeping your office name visible in correspondence.

A mailbox for each member

Assign a mailbox to a lawyer or consultant on your team. Messages belong to the assigned user; purchasing mailboxes does not grant the owner access to another member’s messages.

Read and reply through Withaq

Open the inbox and compose messages in your office dashboard, or open provider webmail after setup. Email application settings depend on provider support.

Storage separate from your website

Email capacity is for your correspondence and does not consume website image or file storage. Each purchase shows mailbox capacity and duration.

Choose an address people recognise

Mailbox naming examples to suit your workflow. Each mailbox belongs to one member; these are not shared inboxes or automatic forwarding services.

From your domain to your first message

  1. Prepare your office domain

Connect a domain you own or request a domain purchase through Withaq, then verify ownership.

  2. Choose your mailbox count

Review your annual plan allowance or buy additional mailboxes with price and duration shown before approval.

  3. Assign addresses to your team

After payment confirmation, choose each mailbox name and its assigned office member, then complete mail DNS setup.

  4. Start corresponding

Once provisioning is complete, the assigned user sets their email password and opens the inbox from the office dashboard.

Clear permissions for professional correspondence

The office owner purchases and allocates mailboxes. Messages are accessible to the assigned mailbox user. If another service already receives your domain’s mail, conflicting records are reviewed before changing mail routing. Complete the verification settings supported by the provider.

Law firms’ questions about professional email

What is professional email for lawyers?

It is email using your law firm’s domain, such as name@your-office.com. It separates professional correspondence from personal email and gives clients an address associated with your firm.

Do I need a custom domain?

Yes. Mailboxes require a verified custom domain and email setup on that domain. Connect a domain you own or buy one through Withaq. The free website subdomain alone does not provide professional email.

Can I purchase additional mailboxes separately?

Yes, when an email offer is available for sale. The office owner chooses quantities in the dashboard and reviews total price, capacity and duration before approval. Allocation starts after confirmed payment; addresses are created afterwards.

Is mail storage separate from website storage?

Yes. Each mailbox has capacity according to its plan or purchase offer, separate from the office website’s images and files.

How does a lawyer access their mailbox?

After provisioning, the assigned member sets their mailbox password. They can read and write through the dashboard or open provider webmail. Provider login uses the mailbox password; it is not automatic single sign-on.

Can the office owner read team members’ mail?

Purchasing and assigning mailboxes does not grant the owner access to a member’s messages. The mailbox and its messages are accessible to its assigned account according to permissions.

Can I keep my existing email on the office domain?

Yes. Buying a domain or connecting a website does not automatically move email. A switch requires DNS review and a message migration plan with support; automatic migration of existing archives is not included.

Do additional mailboxes renew automatically?

Independent offers show their allocation duration before purchase and do not renew automatically. Annual plan mailboxes follow the paid period and benefits saved on the invoice. Review subscription and mailbox pages before expiry.
